The Design Room

We shape homes, retreats and cafés that grow out of land, climate and craft.

Rooted in Kerala's vernacular — sloping tile roofs, lime-washed walls, deep verandahs and old trees left standing — our work is tropical in spirit and contemporary in its detail. Each building is allowed to settle, weather and become a home.

Villa Prema

Conceived as a peaceful weekend sanctuary, this farmhouse is thoughtfully tucked beneath an old mango tree. Ochre plaster, exposed tile roofs, reclaimed teak and a courtyard pool keep the house close to the ground and the shade.

“A house is never finished. It is unfolded — by light, by weather, by the people who live in it.”
